CESIT-CIRCULAR ECONOMY, SUSTAINABILITY AND INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIIES

November 2nd&3rd, 2021

The two days of this virtual online forum will focus on the extremely relevant topic of circular economy, sustainability, and innovative technologies within various industries. In the context of reducing carbon emissions, in the European Union’s approach to get them to zero by 2050, halting degradation of biodiversity, adopting sustainable practices to fight climate change, hence build a smart future, there must be a transition from a ‘take-make-dispose’ to a ‘reuse’ mentality based on the concept of upcycling. Innovative technologies stand at the core of this movement with inventions based on biotechnology, genetic modeling, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, blockchain solutions, air-based agriculture, biomimicry, etc.
